Kids with Cancer Receive Year-End Gift from Focal Pointe Oklahoma

At the heart of Focal Pointe’s culture of service, is a deep level of compassion that is universal throughout our team.  So much so, that our fourth core value is to Inspire Communities, not only through our work or the manner in which we do our work, but also how we live.  To go through life, with a sense of humility, gratitude and generosity, is to go through life fulfilled and happy.

We also happen to enjoy a good competition, so this past year, the branch managers created a Branch Impact Award, where the winning branch could donate $10,000 to a charity of their choice.  The criteria of the friendly competition is based on Safety, Client Satisfaction, Employee Engagement, and Profitability.  All of our branches performed well, but Oklahoma came in for the win, and chose to support the OK Kids Korral – a cost-free home for pediatric cancer patients and their families.

“We met with The Toby Keith Foundation’s Executive Director, Juliet Nees-Bright, and we were all in,” Branch Manager, Jimmy Milligan said. “The program not only helps children going through cancer treatments, but supports the entire family, allowing parents, siblings, and grandparents to stay with them full time. They’re providing hope and comfort for families struggling with the financial and emotional burden of a sick child – that’s a cause we are honored to support.”
