Focal Pointe, a leading landscape services firm, announced the appointment of Heather Hamilton as the company’s Controller.
Hamilton has more than seven years of experience in finance and accounting. She joins Focal Pointe most recently from her role as Director of Finance for Granite City, Illinois. Prior, she served as an auditor for the U.S. Department of Defense.
As Controller, she will be responsible for ensuring that Focal Pointe’s financial controls are healthy and the internal systems in place are functioning to support operations and the work our branches do to serve Focal Pointe customers.
“We are thrilled to welcome Heather to our company’s finance group,” said Chief Financial Officer, Luke Williams. “With our continued growth, it’s imperative that we maintain a solid financial operation, and we believe Heather is the right person to build and maintain that operation for us.”
Heather has a Bachelor of Science from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri.
