Serving as the philanthropic arm of Focal Pointe, the Family Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization comprised of Focal Pointe team members. Operating in a volunteering capacity, the foundation has hosted 16 golf tournaments and spread holiday cheer to countless families who need it most.

ABOUT THE FOUNDATION

In her spirit.

The first Focal Pointe charity golf tournament started in 2009 after valued team member Cindy Amos lost her life in a traffic accident on her way to work. Her daughter became our first beneficiary, where our golf tournament helped raise $13,000 to go towards her college education fund. Following the first tournament, the Focal Pointe Family Foundation was created to continue in Cindy’s spirit; raising funds for families who have suffered sudden loss or illness, through no fault of their own.

Since the first tournament, your continued support has generated over $750,000 for families in need. We have heard the heart wrenching stories of families facing serious loss and hardship through community schools and churches. Thanks to you, we have assisted families with the costs not covered by insurance; utility bills, childcare, rent payment, flights for specialized treatment, deductibles, and co-pays, just to name a few.
