We’re proud to share that our St. Louis team was recognized through the 2025 St. Louis Green Business Challenge, an honor that reflects a year of meaningful environmental stewardship, innovation, and community leadership.
This recognition isn’t about a single project or moment. It represents consistent effort across properties, neighborhoods, and partnerships—driven by teams who care deeply about creating landscapes that serve people, communities, and the environment.
2025 Accomplishments
Over the past year, our work focused on advancing sustainable landscapes while delivering real, measurable impact across the St. Louis region.

Installed 28,183 plants, with 50% native plants representing 150 different native species
Continued stewardship of 30+ acres of reclaimed urban land, restored into reconstructed prairie
Green Infrastructure Installed
81,838 sq. ft. of bioretention systems
2,400 sq. ft. of rain gardens
4,600 sq. ft. of nature play areas

5,280 sq. ft. of educational gardens

Each of these efforts supports healthier ecosystems, smarter water use, and outdoor spaces that work harder for the people who rely on them.
2025 Innovations and Community Impact
Beyond our project work, our teams extended their impact through partnerships and community-led initiatives that reached well beyond the landscape.
Community Support and Relief
Following the May 16 tornado, our teams helped with cleanup efforts and raised funds to purchase 9,780 relief items for local shelters, including food, hygiene supplies, and bottled water
Meaningful Partnerships
Partnered with the St. Louis Cardinals Broken Bat Program to plant 35 trees at local parks and schools—one tree for every bat broken during the season
Partnered with Operation Food Search and Liberty Apple Orchard to glean a record 2,726 pounds of apples, distributed to local food pantries to reduce waste and support families
Recognition
2025 Co-Winner, alongside the St. Louis Cardinals, of the Green Jean Ponzi Collaborative Impact Award
Why This Matters
Great landscaping is about more than appearance. It’s about responsibility, long-term thinking, and creating environments that enrich daily life. These accomplishments reflect how we approach our work: with intention, care, and a belief that landscapes can—and should—serve a greater purpose.
This recognition belongs to our people. The crews, specialists, and leaders who put people first, embrace results, and inspire communities every day. We’re grateful to be part of a region committed to sustainability and proud to play a role in shaping a more resilient St. Louis.
