I have seen very smart people hold themselves back, out of fear of making a mistake. Decisions need to have clarity, but they don’t need to have perfection. The best approach is…ready, aim, fire. It is not…ready…aim…think about wind…aim…think about the earth’s rotation…aim…breath…aim…fire. See the target, visualize success, pull the trigger, then work your tail off making your vision of success come to life.
Whether you wait to pull the trigger out of fear you’ll miss, or out of fear you’ll land the opportunity and now need to prove yourself…in either event you’re operating from a place of fear. “Go out and get busy”…and watch your fear go away.
