Crisis Nursery Receives Year-End Gift from Focal Pointe Hazelwood

At the heart of Focal Pointe’s culture of service is a deep and consistent commitment to people. Our fourth core value is to Inspire Communities — not only through the quality of our work, but through how we show up in the world. To live with humility, gratitude, and generosity is to live with purpose.

Each year, that commitment takes tangible form through our Branch Impact Award. The award recognizes excellence across Safety, Client Satisfaction, Employee Engagement, and Profitability — and includes a $10,000 donation to a charitable organization.

This year, our Hazelwood branch earned the honor.

As part of the award, the team directed their donation to St. Louis Crisis Nursery — an organization that provides a short-term safe haven for more than 4,000 children each year. These are children whose families are navigating emergencies such as illness, homelessness, domestic violence, or overwhelming parental stress.

During a recent visit, our team learned more about the Nursery’s mission. Their goal is simple but profound: ensure every child who walks through their doors feels safe, wanted, and loved. For a child in crisis, that sense of comfort and normalcy can mean everything. While they may not fully understand the hardship surrounding them, they will remember whether they felt secure. They will remember whether they felt cared for.

Our donation will help provide essential items that support the daily operations of their facilities and the children entrusted to their care.

We are proud of our Hazelwood team for their performance this year — and proud that their success will extend beyond our company and into the lives of families across the St. Louis community.
