In the very early days of owning my business, I had a client who was the managing partner of a local Northwestern Mutual office. He had gone to a conference for entrepreneurs, and during a talk in his driveway one Saturday, he shared with me a lesson he learned during the conference. One of the presenters at the conference was someone who did research on the number one attribute successful business owners shared. Everyone wondered what that was – smarts, competitive, leadership, family wealth, good communicator, etc? Turns out, the number one attribute among successful business owners was exactly what Dr. King speaks about in today’s message. They simply never gave up.
Whatever your dream, big or small, the only way to achieve it is to never, ever give into the temptation of believing it is not possible. It won’t guarantee success, but a lack of that commitment will guarantee failure. You must keep moving forward.
